Gambar
Nothing screams summer like this refreshing and juicy, sweet and savory, lemony and minty cucumber, watermelon, and fennel salad This post is sponsored by  MilkAndEggs . All opinions are mine. Thank you for your support After I posted my last  picture   by the pool on IG some of you asked me about the salad I was eating. Have you seen it?!  It's the perfect quick lunch, ready in a couple of minutes, fresh and healthy, and oh-sooo good.   It's a great combination of sweet and savory, juicy and crunchy. All in one big bowl. The usual cucumber-watermelon salad normally comes with red onions (but I'm not a huge fan of raw onions), and crumbled feta cheese (yum). You can add either, or both. OR you can do just like I did and add some shaved fresh fennel. It adds some extra crunchiness and lots of flavor. Its licorice-like aroma goes perfectly with the the minty/lemony dressing.  And let's not forget, fennel is one of those super healthy ...

Fresh Pasta Salad With Veggies And Panggangan Roasted Turkey Breast

Gambar
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Smithfield Ⓡ . The opinions and text are all mine. Flavorful pasta salad with fresh veggies and panggangan roasted turkey breast Now that school is back in session, so is the daily struggle for all the moms (or dads!) out there. Can you feel it too?!? I'm talking about the daily effort to create and pack a lunch for our kids to take to school. It's really quite complicated when I think about it. This lunch needs to be SCRUMPTIOUS and FUN, so it won't make its way back home after school in an untouched container next to a starving and unhappy little child.   It needs to be WHOLESOME and NUTRITIOUS, of course! It's our kids that we are talking about. At the same time, it needs to be QUICK and EASY to make. Let's face it, none of us wants to get up a whole hour earlier just to make a meal. As I said, the struggle is real! Before we cry ourselves to sleep tonight worrying about the ...

Here is one that I love and I would like to share with you today. Honestly I make this for a fun lunch next to a big green salad or any weeknight I want to change things up.  This irresistible why-did-I-bake-just-one-for-myself uova alla contadina (how we would call it in Italy) are simply perfect for any occasion. What's not to love about this dish?! It has perfectly baked, soft eggs, over a flavorful tomato sauce, all covered in a cheesy top, served up in oven-safe cute bowl.  It's quick and super easy to make in a few simple steps. Don't forget a hot-from-the-grill thick slice of bread. You'll definitely need it to scoop up the egg and soak up all the sauce, and clean up the bowl. I say this is one of those few fork-optional occ...
